Mrs. K has a few friends getting married in the next few months.  She is in charge of the decor for her one friends bridal shower and is hosting it at Cupcakes and Lace. We love unicorns and we REALLY love this unicorn bark.  I mean how pretty is this!  Make this at your next birthday party! Supplies: 3 melting chocolate packets (you can buy this easy melting chocolate or grab some white chocolate chips) food coloring spoons sprinkles fruit loops or any fun topping! baking sheet preferable with sides Make it!  Follow directions on back of melting chocolate package. Use the food coloring to color your chocolate.  Use three different bowls and pre color them before the next step. Pretty much every girl we come across loves Disney's Moana!  We wanted to share this super fun Moana inspired headband we made at a recent Moana summer camp here in Northern Virginia. Supplies: Fake flowers (craft store or Dollar Tree!) Green card stock or thick paper (half sheet) scotch tape or duck tape hot glue (with adult help) scissors  flower cutters 1 sheet of green felt Make It! Start by folding your card stock paper in half hot dog style.  Cut on the fold line. (You only need half a sheet.) Here in Northern Virginia, we just had our first snow for the season (even though it is March!) so we are still thinking about these American Girl Doll ski's! If you like American Girl Doll crafting projects you will love this!  You may a little adult help with cutting them out but it is tons of fun! We LOVE the new Outdoor Girl Scout badges!  If you are looking for ideas and inspiration for either the Brownie Outdoor Art Creator or Junior Art Explorer, we have some tips and projects for you. If you are a Junior Girl Scout troop looking for fun activities to earn this Jeweler badge then try out this fun necklace! Supplies: yarn in desired colors scissors wooden beads/paint/paintbrush/painters tape (to learn how to make the painted beads click here) jewelry string   Make It! Start by cutting your yarn or use the small packs of yarn like we had.  We use 4 packs.  You can make the pom pom as big or as small as you like.
