We have a really fun Disney Villain themed birthday idea!  Its edible too!  Learn how to make the Evil Queen/Witch red apple treats! Supplies: jumbo marshmallows red icing (we just used food coloring to die vanilla icing small pretzel sticks green icing gel red sprinkles cardboard straws or lollipop sticks Make It: Start by putting the straws into the bottom of the marshmallows. After you dye the icing start to ice the marshmallows. Roll the marshmallows into the red sprinkles.  Make sure to coat the top too! Cut the pretzels in half and stick a piece on top (this is your apple stem!) Now using the green gel pen draw the apple leaf near the stem. In one of our summer camps this past summer we had a Star Wars themed American Girl Doll crafting day!  Want to make mini Princess Leia hair buns for your doll too?  Check out the instructions below! Supplies: thick brown yarn roughly about 8-10 inches long (we found this colored yarn at JoAnn Fabrics that was the closest color to her hair) scissors hot glue gun (with adult help!) 4 inch brown felt circle (you can just buy the felt squares and cut it into the circle or give the girls a pattern to trace) 2 bobby pins (can get a pack of these at Dollar Tree for $1!) In one of our recent summer camps we taught our students how to make a miniature Fairy Garden Village!  See below for some ideas on how to make your own! You can purchase most of these supplies at Dollar Tree and Michaels.  Dollar Tree has assorted moss, sand, rocks, shells etc.  So this project is very inexpensive! At our studio in Aldie, Virginia we recently held a Painting and Baking Camp for an awesome group of Girl Scout Brownies! Do you love crafting mini items for your American Girl Doll?  Love Grace?  We have some awesome inspiration to get you started on making a Grace themed Paris bakery stand for your 18'' doll! In a recent private Girl Scout troop workshops here in Northern Virginia we helped a Washington DC troop earn the Making Memories badge with a scrapbook theme! We think this is a great retired badge (they are still currently available on GSUSA!) and make a super fun activity for your troop.  If you are local come to our studio and we can help you earn this badge. We have the best summer craft for you to make for your American Girl Doll or 18'' Doll...a camping tent! See below to make one for your doll!
