Outdoor Art Creator Brownie Girl Scout Badge Class with the Aldie Mill!

Nature, outdoor art, fresh air, Historic Aldie Mill….so much fun! Girls come for a fun afternoon at Cupcakes and Lace and our neighbor down the road: Aldie Mill! Earn your Outdoor Art Explorer Badge (Brownies) and Outdoor Art Creator Badge (Juniors). The mill folks will lead a nature tour around the mill and you will learn a little history as well as do leaf rubbings from leaves you find on your nature walk. Then head to Cupcakes and Lace for some nature crafting! Complete a wind chime using some cool materials found in nature, create your own mini fairy garden and more! There will be two groups and we will have one hour at each location then switch. Please eat lunch prior to coming. A small snack will be provided for the girls at the mill. Leaders must stay with troops on locations for this class.
Leaders are responsible for driving your troop to and from the locations. It is about a 30 second drive (no sidewalks down to our studio so you need to drive them). Please limit the adults/leaders staying for the classes to 2 at the most due to spacing issues.
