Jeweler Junior Badge Girl Scout Workshop!
This past weekend we had our Jeweler Junior workshop in Northern Virginia, and the Girl Scout juniors earned their Jeweler badge!
The junior scouts had tons of fun making all different kinds of jewelry. They had to complete a few requirements in order to earn that Jeweler badge. We decided to put a fun twist on the requirements and make necklaces and bracelets made from nature, hardware, paper and even toilet paper rolls!
You can make very cool and unique jewelry with just about anything. Take a look around your house and out in the backyard for things like: paper, toilet paper rolls, paper clips, rubber bands, acorns and more! We also went to the hardware store and picked up some really cool springs, and washers! They added a great touch to an otherwise ordinary necklace!
