Brownie Girl Scouts Earned Their Stitch-It-Together Try-It!
This past weekend at our Stitch It Together Workshop here in Northern Virginia, the Girl Scout brownies learned how to sew!
The brownies earned their stitch-it-together try-it by completing a few fun sewing projects! First the girls learned a little about safety with needles and scissors then we jumped right into the fun stuff! They made a felt bookmark and sewed a cute felt flower button on it. Their favorite project was a mini Christmas inspired stuffed creature! They learned a whip stitch and sewed up this cute little creature, then used tons of embellishments to make it fun and cuddly!
