Beautiful Butterfly Fun Patch Kit Workshop-Patch Programs for Girl Scouts

In one of our recent crafting workshops in Chantilly, Virginia we helped the girls earn our original Cupcakes and Lace Butterfly Patch Kit!

This super fun and enthusiastic group of Daisy scouts had a great day! We learned about the butterfly life cycle, made a butterfly craft and even enjoyed a very fun snack (the girls learned about how a butterfly eats through a straw like mouth) of butterfly juice.

We even added an additional activity of hand sewing butterfly stuffed animals. We recycled sweaters and cut the middle part of the butterfly using the sweater material. The girls then sewed, stuffed and decorated their own butterfly.

All of our Cupcakes and Lace Patch Kit programs are designed to help leaders, moms and educational instructors plan a fun and easy activity. They each include: supply list, pictures and templates/patterns for craft projects as well as one fun patch. Additional patches are purchases separately depending on how many you need.

This Butterfly Kit is great for Daisy and Brownie age (Kindergarten-3rd grade). We also have some other patch kits to choose from that are great for Daisy-Junior age (K-5th grade).
