Our Favorite Online Fabric Shops For Kid and Adult Sewers!
Here at Cupcakes and Lace we are always buying fabrics for our year-round kids sewing classes and summer camps!
Many times the girls and parents ask where we get our awesome fabrics so we wanted to share with you. We have includes some of our favorite fabrics shops in this post.
We also love to purchase vintage fabrics from flea markets, and yard sales. Joann Fabrics is always a good local 
place to shop for fabric as well. There is an amazing store we also love in New Jersey called the Fabric Warehouse with discounted fabrics and trimmings!
Fabricworm.com: I think this would be our FAVORITE for beautiful, fun and quirky cotton prints. This west coast based online fabric shop has TONS of amazing prints for kids projects and quilters too. They also have some beautiful cotton linen fabrics that make great tote bags and purses. If you sign up for their email list they usually offer great discounts from time to time. You will have so much fun browsing through all of their fabrics.
Hawthornethreads.com: This is another amazing online fabric shop with tons of sewing patterns too. They are a little pricey but if you look through the sale section they have some great prints. Along with cottons they have beautiful jersey prints too. We just stocked up on tons of fabrics for our summer camps! They also offer tiered pricing and the more you purchase the cheaper the prices are! One thing we really love about them is that they are a husband and wife small business team!
Fabric.com: Wow! Fabric.com offers PLENTY of variety. Cottons, knits, linen, flannel, trimmings, sewing machines and more. They are very inexpensive and offer free shipping on $35 and up. They have lots of affordable fabrics for kids sewing projects.
