18″ Doll Pets and Dog Accessory Workshop!

At one of our recent 18” Doll Accessory workshops we had tons of fun with all things related to dogs and pets!

The girls spent one of their recent days off from school crafting up tons of mini items for their dolls! They each received a mommy plush dog and a puppy. The girls then turned a simple box into an adorable dog house, made pretend bones and food for their dogs, leashes, collars and more.

After they created a cozy home for their dogs it was was time to make mini birds and birdhouses, as well as bunny rabbits and a bunny home!

You can create your own dog house for your American Girl Doll or 18” doll too! We took big boxes (bulk detergent boxes or any box with three sides) and hot glued a roof (made out of poster board) on top of the box. Then we had the girls use lots of fun colored duct tape around the whole box. Lastly, we used fun foam stickers and gems to decorate the sides. You can always spray paint it for your child and then have them use their creativity to decorate the dog house with the stickers and gems!
