DIY Harry Potter Butter Beer Edible Recipe!

We have an upcoming Science Wizardry Camp for Girl Scouts (in Northern Virginia!) coming up in August…and we are going to make tons of  fun Harry Potter crafts including Butter Beer!

We have done this class theme before and the girls loved it!  The best part about it is that the Girl www.cupcakesandlace.comScouts get to earn their Science Wizardry badge.  This fun retired badge (retired Virginia Skyline council badge from a few years ago…but we have tons that we stocked up on!) teaches the girls science experiments!

We decided to add a little flare to the badge and put a Harry Potter spin on it!  We will be making some Harry Potter crafts like a golden snitch, wand and more!

The yummiest part of the day will be the butter beer….and hey its SUPER easy for kids to make!

Butter Beer Supplies:

  • Cream soda
  • Whip cream (you can make homemade, or buy can or even use cool whip)
  • spoons and straws
  • clear cups

Butter Beer Instructions:

  1. This really is super easy but so fun for the kids!  Take a small clear cup and have the kids fill it up about half way full with cream soda.
  2. Pour or spoon the whip cream on top of the cream soda.
  3. Take the spoons and straws and sip up that butter beer just like Harry, Ron and Hermione!
