Making Hobbies Junior Girl Scout Badge Workshop
Here at Cupcakes and Lace at one of our recent Girl Scout workshops, we helped the girls earn their Making Hobbies badge!
We spent a fun Friday night filled with learning about the craft business, making tons of crafts, and 
even completed a hand sewing project!
We taught the girls about Cupcakes and Lace and how things work when you have a crafting business. We showed them some of our handmade products, our original kids crafting kits, patch kits and discussed our new website.
After that it was time for tons of fun crafting and sewing! The girls completed all requirements to earn their Making Hobbies 
badge and had tons of fun while doing so! The scouts made a cute ice cream cone stuffed animal by sewing and then embellishing them with pom poms, yarn, googley eyes, fabric scraps and more. After that we used recycled materials and nature materials to make the cutest mini pet rock villages.
