Santa’s Elves Toymaker Junior Badge Workshop
Santa’s little Girl Scout elves earned their 1960’s retro Toymaker Junior badge at one of our recent 
winter classes in Chantilly, Virginia!
Since Christmas is right around the corner we decided to put a whimsical holiday spin on this Toymaker badge. We discovered these awesome retro 1960’s Girl Scout badges from Ebay.
This badge is similar to the newly retired Toymaker. The girls got to see dolls and toys from around the world as well as playing a “guess that toy and year it was made” game.
We then taught the girls how to hand sew the cutest mini Gingerbread stuffed animals! Then they used recycled materials, nature materials and craft materials to create a little house for their newly sewn 
friend. They use pinecones for Christmas trees, recycled boxes to create a mini fireplace and more. We found tiny stockings and Santa caps from Oriental Trading and the girls loved them. They had tons of fun using their imagination and creativity while earning this badge!
